He is an innovative researcher in the challenge of strategy execution and has published his research and empirical findings in the Harvard Business Review and the London Business School Review.
David is currently advising the board of a European bank, the wealth management division of a global bank, the executive board of an African Telco company, the HR leadership of a major multinational pharmaceutical company and an Internet start-up company in the Netherlands. David specialises in strategy execution and leadership development.
He has over 25 year-experience in academia, consulting and business, working with clients in different sectors across Europe, the USA, the Middle East, China and India.

Group Global Head of Leadership Development (Strategic Sourcing, Talent Management, Group Academy and Diversity & Inclusion) since 2013.
In this role, she shapes the leadership development and engagement/empowerment strategy of Generali Group, designing and implementing the Group HR governance, key global processes, tools and training/coaching initiatives in order to embed a newly shaped organizational culture and support the new strategy execution. Previously, she was Group Head of Learning, Development and Internal Communication at RCS MediaGroup from 2007 to 2013. She started her career in Accenture: joined newly graduated, experienced several different roles, becoming Partner in 2001, within Financial Services - Talent & Organization, Change Management Service Line.

Former Dean and President of the Board of MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business since 2015. Full professor of Supply Chain Management at Politecnico di Milano.
He is Chairman of the executive board of ACE, Alliance of Chinese and European Business Schools. He's member of the board of directors (independent director) of two medium size Italian multinational companies of the machinery industry. He’s member of the International Advisory Committee of Beijing Jiaotong School of Management and Xi’an Jiaotong School of Management in China and of ESSCA Business School (France) and of the Faculty of Economics of Ljubljana University (Slovenia) in Europe. He has been member of the managing committee of ASFOR the Italian association for management education and of AIDI (National association of professor of Industrial Plants) and ANIMP (National association of industrial plant). He published 6 books (in Italian) and more than 120 scientific papers on international journals or conference proceedings.
